Corrections, discussions, comments, clarifications, and retractions policy following article publication

The Tecnología, Ciencia y Educación journal is committed to upholding the quality, transparency, and integrity of the entire editorial process. We encourage scientific dialogue and continuous improvement of scientific literature. To achieve this, the following considerations will be taken into account once articles are published:

Minor corrections:

  • If the authors of an article detect typographical errors, grammatical mistakes, or minor omissions in the published work, they may submit a correction request to the editorial team of the publication. The team will address the issue as promptly as possible. Such requests can be sent via email to the publication: revistatce@udima.es
  • These types of corrections will be implemented by updating the article version on the online platform. It is not necessary to publish an «Erratum» in the «Announcements» section of the platform.

Discussions, comments, and clarifications:

  • Readers can submit discussions, comments, or clarifications regarding a previously published article. Such requests can be sent via email to the publication: revistatce@udima.es
  • The authors of the discussed or questioned article have the option to respond to these comments and discussions. Their clarifications can also be sent via email to the publication: revistatce@udima.es
  • Comments, discussions, and clarifications will be carefully evaluated, and if relevant, they will be published in the «Announcements» section of the online journal platform.

Major corrections:

  • If the authors of an article detect serious errors or methodological issues in their work, they may submit a correction request to the editorial team of the publication. The team will address the issue as promptly as possible. Such requests can be sent via email to the publication: revistatce@udima.es
  • These major corrections will be implemented by updating the article version on the online platform and will also be announced under the title «Erratum» in the «Announcements» section of the platform.

Retractions:

  • In exceptional cases, that is, when fraud, plagiarism or very serious errors are detected, the retraction of an already published article may be requested with a detailed explanation of the reasons that have led to such circumstance. Said request may be sent through the publication's email: revistatce@udima.es
  • The editors of the journal will carefully study the retraction request and make a decision on it.
  • The retraction will be published in the «Notices» section of the journal's online platform.
  • «Article retracted» will be added before the title of the article.
  • A retraction statement signed by the editors of the publication will be included, which will be added in front of the published version of the article.
  • A watermark indicating «Article retracted» will be included in the published version of the article.

Evaluation process:

  • All discussions, comments, clarifications, major corrections, and retractions will undergo rigorous review by the editorial management and submanagement.
