Online university education offers multiple advantages for the disabled, but in order to receive an inclusive education it is very important to have qualified teachers (men and women) in this area. Therefore, this work aims to analyze a proposal for teacher training in online universities based on the improvement of competencies and motivation in the inclusion of students (men and women) with disabilities. In this work, the participating teachers received training by means of a video and completed the questionnaire to obtain the results. The elaboration of this material started from a preliminary version following the guidelines of the introduction shown in the work. The preliminary audiovisual material, with the basic training, was reviewed by 20 experts in online university training to assess its quality. The sample obtained was 52 participants out of a population of 206 teachers (25.24 %). The results were analyzed by calculating percentages and frequencies, which made it possible to identify trends and patterns in the perception of teacher training in online universities. The results have shown that the training proposed in this work for online university teachers is effective in improving their competencies and motivation in the inclusion of students with disabilities. However, it is suggests deepening some relevant competencies such as digital competencies, due to their importance in increasing the digital capital of people with disabilities.
